Christmas is never an easy time for some families and often children may not find it a happy time. Below is some feedback from another Police Officer whom we gave some donated toys and gifts to. This is the difference that YOUR donation makes.
I work in the Child Abuse Investigation Unit at XXX Police Station, we have given some toys to a family of three that were taken into foster care 2 days before Christmas, the other toys we have put into our ‘family’ room which is where we take children of all ages who may have been abused. The toys we had were looking very tired and many were damaged or had pieces missing so this donation was very much appreciated.
