Help us make sure that no child thinks Santa has forgotten them the Christmas @WeAreBCR
Christmas is not a happy time for everyone and imagine how it would feel if you got nothing for Christmas, not even a hot meal! This is why Operation Santa is passionate about making a difference to local children, young people and their families. It is a local campaign, which is run by Dudley CVS. Every year donations of new toys, gifts, food etc. are collected and distributed to local voluntary and community groups who support children, young people and families in crisis within Dudley borough.
The money raised at the fashion show will go towards putting on Christmas parties in different parts of the borough, providing a hot Christmas lunch, fun and games, and a grotto with presents, for local children and young people who may otherwise not get a Christmas lunch.
Please support our Catwalk for Christmas on 23rd May 2019 from 7 pm at Brierley Hill Civic. Guests can look forward to a ‘great girls night out’ with music, shopping, plenty of browsing time and a great atmosphere!
We have live music, clothes, accessories, a photographer, fabulous tombola and stalls selling crafts, cakes, sweets and wax melts. Tickets are just £5 each and all proceeds will help us bring Christmas cheer to more local children who may otherwise think Santa has forgotten them this year. The first 50 people through the door will receive a special goody bag. Last year’s event was a huge success and we raised £1000, so with your help we can exceed that this year!
The fabulous Bradley Stokes will be performing on the evening. Bradley is a singer/song-writer influenced loosely by rock, blues and Americana. His unique style seems to have taken a toll on the Birmingham open mic scene and he was the winner of Sam Kane’s Search for a star in 2017. He is a passionate performer, so be ready for a lyrical edge, ripping harp and gritty vocals.
The lovely Eloise Amelia will be performing too, so you are in for a real treat!
